YOU SAY YOUR LOOKING FOR MORE FUN?   Save the date: Saturday, June 24th. 

Our friends at the AWS NY-Kylix Chapter will be setting up another trip to the Long Island wineries, takes place on Saturday, June 24th.    

Jay and Bonnie have spent  time and worked in Long Island winery so they are very knowledgeable with the area.  This is essentially their back yard and have many friends there. 

They were able to provide us with special time slots with winery owners for an inside look on LI wineries.  Jay and Bonnie did one last year and it turnout to be very educational and a fun trip. Be sure to let us know if your interested before end of the month so they can make needed arrangements.

Take a trip to the finger lakes for the AWS 50^th Anniversary Celebration at Dr. Frank’s Vinifera Wine Cellars on Sunday, August 13, 11:00 AM. Cost is 65 per person. Email was sent to all AWS members. 

As expected.. Spring in Portugal was a hit and everyone enjoyed the fantastic selections of wine presented.    Here is the list of sampled wines.

American Wine Society - Meadowlands Chapter Presents

Restaurant Night at Segovia Steakhouse & Seafood 

American Wine Society Meadowlands Chapter is proud to be hosting a Restaurant Night at Segovia’s Steak House.    Segovia’s Steak house one of the premier restaurants in Bergen County is opening their doors and their hearts to support the AWS Meadowlands Chapter.  This wonderful meal will be served family style and there will be a cash bar available for all those wishing to have a little something extra aside from wine pairing. Did someone say Sangria?

They are allowing us to bring our own wine for this event.  Members, please bring a bottle of your choice that you wish to share with your chapter buddies and offer your opinion on why your feel this wine will pair well with this meal.

Sunday, May 7, 2017 - Last Barrel Sampling until 2018  

Come to Make Wine With Us for the last Barrel Sampling of the season.   This is a free event and no reservations are required.  A Barrel Sampling is an open house event and runs from 1:00-4:00pm.    This is an opportunity to taste various fantastic wine varietals from various regions. You should be getting a notice about this event in the near future and should act immediately if interested in attending. I do not have a price on the tickets but is suppose to be nominal.
