Hudson Valley has the ideal geography and
conditions for growing a variety of grapes such as Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Riesling,
Merlot and a fantastic Baco Noir which are expressed wonderfully in
these wines.
It was a very successful tasting, prompting much interest in visiting the area in the spring and summer to sample
more of these wines. I provided additional web site links below. Please note, these are also available at various local stores.
Now you know that you don’t have
fly out all the way out west, just take a short day trip to Hudson Valley Wine
Country instead to visit up to 40 local vineyards.
Carlo Devito for the selection and presentation.
Diane and John of “Make Wine With Us” for their hospitality.
