AWS Meadowlands September Meeting
Old World & New World Wines  

This month we did a comparison of similar grapes grown in old world region vs new world region.    Their tastes, wine making styles, & nuances.   Tasted & compare Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir & Zinfandel to review the difference in grapes side by side.  

Bourgrier Sauvignon Blanc – France
Kemblefield Sauvignon Blanc – New Zealand

Caleo Salento Primativo – Italian
Sabon Estates Zinfandel – US

Luc Pirlet Pinot Noir  - France  - Team favorite!
Kudos Pinot Noir       - Oregon

In addition, the team also have an opportunity to test your sensory to review and detect wine faults such as Cork taint, Brettanomyces, Acetic Acid, Microbial and Hydrogen Sulfide.
