2017 Harvest News
Lodi Winegrape Commission's Stuart Spencer, of St. Amant Winery, says crop levels are light to average across the appellation, the result of an unusual weather year, with an extremely wet winter and spring. He and other vintners expect harvest will be in full swing by mid-August. “Quality at this point looks pretty good,” he says.
Stuart Spencer will again be at the American Wine Society
Conference this year. He does a fantastic job with
presentations and will keep you engaged. Take up one of his tasting sessions if you can.
