😊  Come in to Make Wine With Us on Wednesday (6 PM ) and help select the next Barrel of AWS Meadowlands Wine.   What should we make this year?

NEW - AUGUST 9th is SANGRIA NIGHT 

We will show you how to build the perfect and delicious Sangria for the upcoming summer evening parties and hangouts.  We will have Red, Rose and White sangria's, and how to make them.   We will share preparation steps and hand out recipes for you to try at your next friends and family gathering.            Join us at "Make Wine With Us" your friendly neighborhood winery.

Sorry folks - July 7th Wine Bottling was Moved to July 12th at 5:30 PM.   If your participated in the barrel, come on in to bottle and pick up case on Friday.    

If your interested in participating making wine we plan to start a new barrel this fall.   Let us know if interested.  We can discuss which varietals to add for an award winning blend.  :-)

+ Our friends Katharine + Sean of the Jersey City Chapter are doing a Rosé Tasting on Thursday, June 27th at 7pm @ Jersey Wine & Spirits. Let me know if your going to be in the area and interested in attending. - limited seating so act fast.    

+ American Wine Society Amateur Wine Competition/NJ State Fair Commercial Wine Competition. “The Garden State Wine Challenge”.     Judging will take place on Saturday, July 13^th 10:00am - 5:00pm at the Sussex Fair Grounds Administration Building: 37 Plains Road Augusta, NJ 07822.         An awards ceremony and tasting will take place on Saturday August 3^rd at 1:00pm in the Richards Building at the NJ State Fair.      If interested in assisting, contact Regional Vice President Danny Klein.  bottleguru@hotmail.com    I will be there to help Judge Commercial and Amateur wines, come on in to help us with setup and see what it takes to run an event like this.  Participants will have free access to fair in August.

AWS Meadowlands - April Meeting was Enlightening and Fun!    Members would like to thank JoAnn DeGaglia again for the educational session and for sharing some of the fun stories with us.  

A one-point difference can mean thousands of dollars in sales for the distributors, but as we tested the theory, in half of the samples it did not matter.  Trust your palate, and go with what you enjoy most, no need to pay more just for the points.   Another wonderful session... :-)
